UMaine Field Day

From Somerset Public Health:
What a day at MJSHS for our UMaine Field Day!
The day kicked off with over 200 area youth forming a tunnel as the 60 UMaine athletes and coaches ran through to the Stein Song, a moment full of joy, pride, and Black Bear spirit!
UMaine athletes led powerful conversations about fueling your body and what it takes to be a Division I athlete, followed by hands-on skill clinics, lunch with the athletes, and lots of autographs, smiles, and high-fives to end the day.
Meanwhile, a huge shoutout to Mike Packard and the hardworking, high-energy New Balance volunteer team, who spent the day beautifying the Move More Kids Disc Golf Course. Their dedication is helping make this space even more special for youth and families.
Special thanks to: Jaime Ela, Andy Haynie, Josh Bishop, Danny Moreshead, Thad LaCasse, Ryan Arnold, Doris Cook, Chris Roy, The Maine Meal, all Madison coaches, Aaron LeBlanc, Randy, and Mike Packard. You all helped make the magic happen.
And to our amazing MJSHS staff and students, thank you for your heart, leadership, and energy. This day was a success because of YOU.
